Whiskey turkey burgers & feta dill kale salad

Okay I know your reading this title and thinking to yourself what in the wold are you talking about Erika.

This meal is the perfect combination of sweet and salty. It melts in your mouth leaving you satisfied.

I love cooking , every dish make feels like a new art project, I want it to be beautiful but at the same time serve a purpose for our bodies.

This meal is packed with lean Protein and dark green vegetables, packed full of fiber and Vitamins. the feta is a healthy fat that brings both flavors together as one.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound of ground turkey

  • 1 egg

  • 1 cup panko Gluten-free breadcrumbs

  • 1/2 cup dices white onion

  • Garlic powder

  • pepper

  • Everything bagel seasoning

  • Worcestershire sauce

  • Whiskey

  • 3 cups chopped kale

  • 1 cup purple cabbage chopped

  • 1 block of feta

  • dill

  • your favorite dressing

  • olive oil

(I have a sweet poppyseed dressing )


Instructions

1- mix 1 pound of ground turkey ,1 egg, 1 cup panko Gluten-free breadcrumbs,

1/2 cup dices white onion all together in a bowl add in pepper and garlic powder just a Sprinkle of both.


2- form into patties ( should make 6 patties), once you have patties, Sprinkle everything bagel on top splash of Worcestershire sauce and whisky on top


3- cook at 375, 20 min each side. I grilled mine on our Traeger.


4- place chopped kale in a. bowl with purple cabbage, drizzle olive oil on top lightly, and massage into your kale mix. let sit in a refrigerator. will make two servings


5- Once burgers are done place on top of salad, then Sprinkle feta on to of everything then topping everything with dried or fresh dill


6- Serve and Enjoy
