turkey, marinara, and spaghetti squash

All right, this meal is super easy to make and is amazing for a fast meal prep.

Not only does it give you that feeling of comfort food, but without all the guilt that comes with it

I call it the healthy spaghetti.

All you’re gonna need is one large spaghetti squash

A pound of ground turkey

One can of marinara sauce I recommend Sonoma brand

chopped white onion

And a chopped zucchini

Parmesan on top is optional

You’re going to preheat your oven to 400 and you’re going to place your spaghetti squash whole in the oven

Cook it for 35-45 minutes or until starting to turn brown on top

Once your spaghetti squash is cooked, take it on the oven let it rest for five minutes and then cut it in half clean out the seeds and then you may shred your spaghetti squash

While your spaghetti squash is cooking, let’s sauté those onions in a pan. Once onions are completely cooked take them out of the pan and put them to the side. You’re going to dump in your ground, turkey and cooked till it’s completely done. You may add a little salt and pepper if you would like.

Once the turkey is cooked Placed the cooked onion and the raw zucchini into the pan with the ground turkey then you’re going to dump the whole can of marinara sauce into the pan with the turkey and cook on low heat until completely warm.

Serving size is going to be 1 cup of spaghetti squash with 5 ounces of your ground turkey mixture

You may garnish with Parmesan cheese

And enjoy
