With the wether warming up I love blending up some tasty smoothies for me and my kids its a great way to take the heat out of the day. Smoothies are also a great way to pack in a tone of nutrients.
Here is one of mine and my girls favorite
Ingredients
1-2 handfuls spinach
1 cup Orange juice or lemonade
1 cup water
1 ripe banana
1/2 cup frozen mango
1/2 cup frozen pineapple
1 cup greek yogurt
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a high-speed blender. Blend until smooth.
If you don't have a high speed blender, blend spinach and juice and water first until spinach is pureed. Then add remaining ingredients and blend until smooth.
Enjoy immediately.
