Writer's picture: Erika HewittErika Hewitt

Last week I made these amazing bars with my children who are very picky when it comes to anything food. What I have found is if they make food with me they tend to try it. They had so much fun making these bars. They were incredibly tasty and moist. I hope you enjoy them.

Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup + 2 Tbsp all-purpose flour

2 tsp baking powder

1/ 2 tsp sea salt

1 Tbsp pumpkin pie spice

1 tsp cinnamon

1 cup organic sugar, your choice

1/3 cup organic coconut oil

3/4 cup pumpkin puree

2 Tbsp pure vanilla extract

1/4 cup water

Instructions

1-Preheat oven to 350F and grease a 9" cake pan and set aside.

2-In a small bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, salt, pumpkin spice and cinnamon.

3-In a large bowl, add the rest of your ingredients and mix until combined.

4-Gently fold in your dry mixture just until combined.

5-Transfer the dough to the cake pan and bake for 30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

6-Remove from oven and let completely cool before cutting.

Enjoy
