Loaded Veggie chicken burgers

But you can also use this recipe with Ground turkey.

Simple, easing and refreshing

The meal that’s not gonna leave you feeling bloated and greased out, but it’s gonna have you feeling energized satisfied.

So let’s get cooking

Ingredients

• 1 1/2 pounds ground chicken97/3 percent fat

• 1/2 cup red peppers - chopped

• 1/3 cup red onion - diced - more for garnish if desired.

• 1/3 cup crumbled feta cheese

• 1 cup fresh spinach - chopped

• 1/3 cup panko crumbs

• 2 cloves garlic minced

• 2 teaspoons dried oregano

• 1/2 teaspoon salt

• 1/4 teaspoon pepper

• 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

• Serve with sliced red onion if desired

Instructions

• Combine all ingredients

• Shape into 4 patties.

• Grill for 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked through.

Notes

Use fresh ground chicken (we like 93/7) or ground turkey. If using breast meat only, you will find your burgers a bit dry. A little fat goes a long way with this burger!
