Saying this because I see it happen so often and someone here might need to hear it:
Never compare where you are to someone else’s journey.
Maybe this is your first time on a fitness journey.
Maybe you’re on year two!
Maybe you just had a baby and are starting with a body that feels pretty foreign to you. Maybe you’re right where you want to be and you know how good it feels to exercise and be healthy.
My point here is that we are all on different walks, we’re all in different stages and comparing where you are to where ANYONE else is will never serve you.
It will only steal joy. What’s important, and what to focus on are the small everyday wins that YOU experience along your own journey.
Share those wins here and let us celebrate with you! Comment them below
GET EXCITED about them! Embrace when you no longer have to modify a certain move in your workout, or you worked out “x” days in a row for the first time, or you meal prepped and it made sense, or you felt stronger in your willpower when it comes to your eating plan, or your coworker commented on the fact that you’re glowing and happy.
Focusing and feeling grateful for these small “WINS” are the things that make this journey exciting and keep you motivated to reach YOUR goal.
What small wins are you celebrating this week?
Mine- This week I am so proud of myself for not hitting snooze at 4:45 am. It’s really kick started my day off with a bang so I can fill my cup and have some time to myself. Even if it’s before the sun comes up. ☀️
