Now that my two Girls are old enough to want to cook with me, we enjoy baking and cooking together. They had so much fun making this Christmas Peppermint Bark.

But I think they enjoyed eating the candy canes more 😉.

Check out this recipe below and have fun. Its a great gifts for your neighbors or a sweet treat for a party.

INGREDIENTS

DARK LAYER

14oz dark chocolate

1 tsp organic coconut oil

1/2 tsp peppermint extract

WHITE LAYER

14oz white chocolate

1 tsp coconut oil

1 tsp peppermint extract

TOPPING

3 peppermint candy canes, crushed

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Break up the dark and white chocolate and place them into separate microwave safe bowls.

  2. Melt the dark chocolate bowl at 30 second intervals and stir each time until completely melted. Do not overheat or it will burn.

  3. Add in the coconut oil and peppermint extract. Stir to combine.

  4. Pour the dark chocolate onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Make sure it's a smooth layer.

  5. Then repeat steps 2-3 with melting the white chocolate bowl. Pour it on top of the dark chocolate layer.

  6. Sprinkle the crushed candy cane over the top then refrigerate until set.

  7. Once set break it up or cut it into pieces.

Don't forget to share this recipe with your family and friends

xoxo
